I was born and raised in Louisville,
Kentucky. I am very fond of my home, as it is a wonderful city.
Growing up there, I developed an interest at a young age in the
arts. I attended high school at duPont Manual Magnet High School,
a school with terrific art and academic programs. While there, I
majored in visual arts, with classes in painting, drawing, design,
ceramics, sculpture, textiles, printmaking, as well as Advanced
and AP academic courses. While I had the ability to attend many
different schools, and pursue many different fields, I intended
on going to a college or university with a focus on art. I applied
to many, and chose Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus,
I originally planned on majoring in
Graphic Design, but instead decided on Time-Based Media Studies,
because I am just as passionate about the performing arts as I am
about the visual arts. I just graduated from CCAD and am currently
focusing on video production, but am also working in other time-based
fields such as motion graphics, interactive design, and animation.
